Harm Reduction Heroine

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others. She always lives by this quote by Mahatma Gandhi.

Liz Muema joined Reachout Centre Trust as a psychologist intern in 2017 with the zeal and passion of serving the key population. Her role was to assess and conduct therapy sessions that would see people who use drugs start and maintain their recovery journey.

She is the current Project coordinator of the HIV prevention and treatment program targeting Female sex workers in Taita Taveta County.

Her efforts in working closely with other health stakeholders in the county have contributed into a reduction of HIV/AIDS prevalence in Taita Taveta.

Her objectives are to see the HIV/AIDS prevalence data in the county go down.

Liz remains our truly heroine!
