He is our dedicated and ever busy gentleman who spends most of his time defending the rights of people who use and inject drugs (PWUDs and PWIDs) and mostly engaging himself in disentangling those immersed in drug addiction.
Sariah Pili joined Reachout Centre Trust as an outreach worker in the Year 2009.
He is currently the field officer supervisor and a community paralegal officer who is pioneering the advocacy program of the Organization advocating for the rights of those affected by drug addiction and even reaching to those are serving jail terms while being assisted by Prison Officers.
He is extremely passionate in networking and collaborating with the criminal justice system by visiting the police stations and courts for alternative case sentencing of the PWIDs when detained in police custodies for petty offences. He usually gives legal advice and helps in negotiating for plea bargains.
Sariah is wholeheartedly and tirelessly in pushing for the rights of PWIDs and PWUDS in a bid to tame drug addiction in the community and oversee the successful journey of recovery process and bridging the gap between security departments and PWIDs in a bid to enhance justice in their recovery journey.
